How to Change IP address

1. Click on “Start” button.

2. Click on “Run”.

3. Type in “cmd" and open command prompt.

4. Type “ipconfig /release” just like that, and hit “enter”.

5. Type “exit” and leave the prompt.

6. Right-click on “Network Places” on your desktop.

7. Click on “properties”.

8. Right click on “Local Area Connection” and click “properties”.

 

9. Double-click on the “Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)” from the list under the “General” tab.

10. Click on “Use the following IP address” under the “General” tab.

11. Create an IP address (It doesn’t matter what it is. I just type 1 and 2 until i fill the area up).

12. Press “Tab” and it should automatically fill in the “Subnet Mask” section with default numbers.

13. Hit the “Ok” button here.

14. Hit the “Ok” button again. You should now be back to the “Local Area Connection” screen.

15. Right-click back on “Local Area Connection” and go to properties again.

16. Go back to the “TCP/IP” settings.

17. This time, select “Obtain an IP address automatically”.

18. Hit “Ok”.

You now have a new IP address.

Hide Your Files In a JPEG

Step 1:-

Gather all the files that you wish to hide in a folder anywhere in your PC (make it in C:\hidden - RECOMMENDED).

Step 2:-
Now, add those files in a RAR archive (e.g. secret.rar). This file should also be in the same directory (C:\hidden).

Step 3:-
Now, look for a simple JPEG picture file (e.g. logo.jpg). Copy/Paste that file also in C:\hidden.

Step 4:-
Now, open Command Prompt (Go to Run and type ‘cmd‘). Make your working directory C:\hidden.

Step 5:-
Now type: “COPY /b logo.jpg + secret.rar output.jpg” (without quotes) - Now, logo.jpg is the picture you want to show, secret.rar is the file to be hidden, and output.jpg is the file which contains both. :D

Step 6:-

Now, after you have done this, you will see a file output.jpg in C:\hidden. Open it (double-click) and it will show the picture you wanted to show. Now try opening the same file with WinRAR, it will show the hidden archive.

How to Lock your PC when After Wrong Password

=> Start up and open Local Security Policy

=> From the left window pane expand Account Policies and select Account Lockout Policy option in it.

=> Now in the right window pane look for the Account lockout threshold option and double click on it.

=> A new window will be open and give the value after how many invalid password attempts you want to lock your computer.

=> Click on Apply button and a window will be open telling you Account will lock down for 30 minutes.

=> You can also change the time settings by clicking on the Reset account lockout counter according to your need.

=> Click OK. 

That’s it. Now your computer will be temporally locked for some time that you had set in the settings when someone will enter wong password.

Procedure to block an unblock internet sites

Follow this step:

• Go to Start and type RUN .
• Type C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc
• Open the file "HOSTS" in a notepad
• Under "127.0.0.1 localhost" . Add IP Name
  IP - IP of the site to be blocked
  Name - Name of the site

Example :
127.0.0.1 localhost
210.210.19.82 www.sifymall.com

Sifymall is now unaccessable . For every site after that you want block , just add "1" to the last number in the internal ip (127.0.0.2) and then the add like before.

Create a Nameless files and folders in windows

Just follow the following steps:


1.
Select any file or folder.

2.
Right click on it, press rename or simply press F2.


3.
Press and hold the alt key. While holding the Alt key, type numbers   0160 from the numpad.


Note:- Type the numbers 0160 from the numpad, that is, the numbers present on the right side of the keyboard. Don't type the numbers which are present on top of the character keys.


4.
Press Enter and the nameless file or folder will be created.




For this you will have to rename the file with 2 spaces. Just follow these steps below:


1.
Select file, press F2.


2.
Hold alt key and type 0160 from the numpad.


3.
Release the alt key. Now without doing anything else, again hold alt key and press 0160.


4.
Press enter and you will have second nameless file in the same directory.


5.
Repeat step 3 to create as many nameless files or folders in the same directory.
